Launch partnership for startup programs
Founders rehearse out loud on their own account and get AI feedback on structure, clarity, pacing, and filler words. Apply to give one upcoming cohort a free week of Pro: one code, no payment card, nothing to integrate.
The pitch breakdown
Founders see which parts are strong, which need work, and which are missing, from the hook and problem through traction and the ask. This is the real speaking.app analysis of DoorDash’s 2013 YC pitch.
9 core elements investors expect, plus 4 optional ones (How It Works, Why Now, Vision, Roadmap) that only some pitches need.
Add these only if they fit your pitch.
Short founder pitches
DoorDash, Retool, and GitLab each had about two minutes on the YC stage. See how they covered the problem, solution, and traction, then compare those sections with your own pitch.

Tony Xu · 2013
How DoorDash used early delivery numbers to show demand.

David Hsu · 2017
How Retool explained its problem and solution in about two minutes.

Sid Sijbrandij · 2015
How GitLab used contributor and customer numbers to show traction.
Give founders more opportunities to rehearse between sessions, without adding another workshop to your schedule.
Launch partnership
Fill in the short form below: who the group is, how many people, and when access should start.
If approved, you get a single redemption code for the whole group by email, usually within one to two working days.
Each person creates a free account and enters the code. No lists of emails to send us.
The week starts when each person redeems, not when the code is issued, so late joiners get the full seven days.
When the week ends, Pro access stops automatically. Participants can keep using their free accounts, or choose to upgrade.
We also offer paid options for programs that need longer access or a more structured setup. Pro Passes provide extended private Pro access. Workspace lets program staff assign practice, follow progress, and review a founder’s work, with founders controlling whether coaches can open their audio and full transcripts.

Bring the stronger sections back together and compare the next complete take with the first.
Privacy
People practice honestly when nobody is watching. With the free week, everyone practices on their own private account: recordings, transcripts, and feedback stay with each founder unless they choose to share a report. (A managed Workspace works differently, and puts that control in the participant’s hands per session.)

“Off the back of how the pitch went, I was introduced to an investor, and I genuinely think that outcome was a direct result of the improvements I made through speaking.app.”

“I think the app is fantastic and we should have used it sooner. The hard 3-min stop was annoying at first but such a good setup for me to cut excess out.”
Robert Bordianu
Founder, IDV Exchange · NDRC Pre-Accelerator

“speaking.app was incredibly helpful while I was preparing pitches for my business. It is a great tool for anyone looking to improve their communication skills or practise for presentations, interviews, or public speaking.”

Get started
Tell us about your group and when the week would be most useful. Here is what happens after you apply:
We review each application and reply from hello@speaking.app, usually within one to two working days.
Approved groups get one redemption code, limited to the group size and valid for the agreed dates.
You forward it with two lines of instructions. Done.
Prefer email? Write to hello@speaking.app with the same details.

Approved launch partners receive seven days of Pro for one upcoming cohort at no cost. Applications are reviewed and availability is limited. There is no payment card, subscription, or anything to cancel.
You get one redemption code for the whole cohort. Each founder creates a free account and redeems the code at speaking.app/redeem. Their seven days of Pro start the moment they redeem, not when the code is issued, so nobody loses days by joining late.
Pro access ends automatically. There is no auto-renewal and nothing to cancel. Founders who want to keep practicing can stay on the free plan or upgrade their own account.
Yes. The free week gives each founder seven days of Pro, private to their own account. If you need longer private access, or a Workspace with assignments and progress tracking, contact us to discuss the right setup for your program.
Yes. Dates shift, especially around Demo Day. Give us a heads up before the code goes live and we will move it to whatever week works.
No. During the free week, recordings and feedback are private to each founder’s own account. Program staff and mentors do not get access unless the founder chooses to share a report.
A browser and a microphone. It works on a phone or a laptop, there is nothing to install, and creating an account is free.
The free launch offer is generally limited to one cohort per organisation. For later cohorts, paid Pro Passes provide the same simple access-only setup. If you are interested in a broader recurring partnership, tell us about your programme in the form.
