Toastmasters Timer role
Time Table Topics, prepared speeches, and evaluations with signals visible from across the room.
Overview
Create one Live link that stays synced with the timer. Anyone with the link can open the live view in a browser on their phone, tablet, or computer, wherever they are. Put it on a projector or event screen, or share the view in Zoom or Google Meet so everyone in the call follows the same timer. Your controls, speaker list, and report remain private on the timer page.
What it includes
Send the link or QR code to remote speakers and event displays. Each viewer follows the timer live, while you keep the controls and meeting report on your screen.

Comparison
| Standard approach | With speaking.app |
|---|---|
| A standard phone stopwatch shows the elapsed time on one screen. | The timing color can fill your screen or appear on a synced live display for the room. |
| Speaker names and times are recorded separately. | Speakers, roles, speech ranges, and times are kept in one editable report. |
| Colored cards or lights are changed manually. | The screen changes color at the thresholds you choose. |
| The final report is prepared separately. | Copy or share the timer report as soon as the last speaker is done. |
