Why does a bee visit not guarantee a seed?
A bee visiting a flower may move pollen, but pollen delivery is only one step toward fertilization. Pollen must reach a suitable surface, and later processes connect it with the ovule. Watching a visit therefore leaves questions about what happened after the insect flew away.
